10 Logan Franklin

Logan Franklin

From being a motocross racer in his senior year to serving in the US military, Logan Franklin has developed an unstoppable mentality and even better physique.

But it wasn’t always a smooth ride for Logan. His training began as a necessity to avoid being targeted by the bigger kids during high school.

After battling through Afghanistan as a teenager, and overcoming the tough desert environment, Logan came back stronger than ever. He was ready to enter the bodybuilding industry and succeed as an international fitness model.

Born in the cowboy state of Texas, Logan was always athletic growing up. Despite being small for his age as a teenager, he played football, baseball and raced in motocross during high school.

He was embarrassed about not being able to lift the bar on his bench press when he first started lifting. The rest of his football team was much stronger than him.

This is what inspired him to start lifting to gain size and strength. His father was a keen trainer and encouraged him. In 2005, at the age of 14, he entered his home gym and began training.

For Logan, this was the start of a journey that would take him around the world.

Logan continued training for the next 4 years, slowly sculpting his physique. He began to see great results and was getting closer to his goal of being big and shredded, but it would only be after his time in the military when he would follow a strict diet. After graduating from high school in 2009, he decided to join the US army at the age of 18.

During his time battling in Afghanistan, he survived the tough conditions and warfare. 13 months later, he returned home before being assigned to a unit in South Korea – he spent the next 4 years guarding an important figure there.

On 14th July 2014, after 5 years honourably serving the US Military, he returned home with a new ambition. He wanted to succeed as a professional bodybuilder. His experience gave him more motivation to succeed and taught him the necessary discipline needed for when his service ended.

He was more determined than ever to make something of himself in the industry.

Onome Egger (Onome Egger Musclemania® PRO)
https://www.instagram.com/onome_egger/

Onome Egger is an Austrian bodybuilder with Nigerian heritage. He blew onto the scene in his teenage years after posting videos of himself online flexing his incredible physique.

Onome started training when he realized he needed to increase his strength and size, to improve his performance while playing American Football. When Onome saw how well his body adapted to lifting weights, he fell in love with training, and the progress he saw through the months of hard work in the gym – this is when he decided to leave the field behind in place of the weights room.

Since the beginning of his bodybuilding career, Onome has become a well-known athlete, internet hit, and inspiration to everyone looking to create a strong, healthy, and natural physique of their own.

Born in 1996, Onome Egger is half Austrian half Nigerian bodybuilder from a small town in Austria who started lifting weights when he was 16 years old. Onome said he started lifting because he played a lot of American football at the time. He knew that if he took up weight training, he could increase his strength and speed on the field.

At the time, when he first started out, he weights only 72kg – 185lbs, but he soon realized that his genetics and natural ability to “grow” when lifting weights propelled him into a life of bodybuilding full-time. As the years passed, he grew to a massive 230lbs of solid muscle.

Onome started gaining more recognition for his incredible transformation after a friend told him to post videos of himself flexing his awesome physique. He started linking the videos to his social media accounts, along with a natural Bodybuilding Organisation.

Onome said he liked natural bodybuilding because of its drug-free approach. He wants to represent natural physiques and avoid the use of drugs, and in the words of Onome; “I want to avoid the huge guts and growth hormone looks” he continues, “for me, bodybuilding is about the classic physique.

David Laid

6 Years ago I began my fitness journey as a 90 pound frail, lanky, near emaciated teen looking to build confidence and become comfortable in my own skin. Although my central goal has always been muscular development, I quickly fell in love with strength training as an integral part of acquiring the physique of my dreams. Physical changes don’t occur overnight, but chasing strength became a source of constant motivation for me, a goal to strive for day in and day out in the gym, a goal which I could see materialize from training session to training session.

I’m a strong believer in programming which prioritizes strength in the development of one’s physique. It is the natural lifter’s most valuable tool in being able to make sustained progress in building muscle mass and achieving genetic potential. Daily undulating periodization has been clinically demonstrated to yield the highest strength returns over any other method of periodization. Progressive tension overload is the central driver of muscle growth (hypertrophy). The stronger we get, the more rapidly we can increase workload volume and achieve progressive tension overload. This program will calculate your personalized, individual numbers for every workout based on the input of your core lift maxes; taking out the guesswork, preventing overreaching, and driving progressive overload each and every workout session. Ditch the pump and fluff workouts and cookie cutter bro splits that are all too common in the industry, and stick to a workout regimen that integrates the most optimal methods of periodization and exercise selection, to fulfill your long term fitness and physique goals.

5 Jeremy Potvin

IFBB PRO Jeremy Potvin
https://www.instagram.com/jeremypotvin_/

How did you get started with bodybuilding?

I got started with bodybuilding while I was stationed in Iraq. I found lifting was a great way to relieve my stress for a couple of hours and let me forget about what I was doing. Since then, it became a habit.

Tell us about being a US Army Veteran.

Ever since I can remember, I always wanted to serve in the Army. My grandfather served, as well as my father. I’m a very patriotic person, and I love being able to say that I served my country with honour.

Where does your motivation come from?

My motivation comes from a continuous desire to better myself. There’s no settling for me because I believe there’s always something that can be improved upon. I also find motivation from those around me, my family, friends, and all of my supporters.

What workout routine has worked best for you?

Honestly, the best routine for me has been going by ‘feel’. I’ll usually hit my chest and triceps, back and biceps, shoulders, arms, and then legs. I always allow for adequate rest between training sessions, so my muscles can fully recover. I also make sure to hit my calves 3-4 times a week regardless because genetically, I wasn’t blessed. (Laughs)

What is the secret to your incredible upper and lower abdominal development?

Well genetically speaking, I wasn’t blessed with a six-pack. (Laughs) But I still have good core development and strength. I think what helps build my abs the most is moving more weight than what my body is capable of handling. I really tend to focus on keeping my core tight and braced when I’m lifting heavy.

What do you do to relax when you’re not working out?

Outside of school, I’m a big outdoors person, so I enjoy anything related to the outdoors. Whether it’s going for a hike, or out on the water, I love it! When I find time to relax, watching movies, Netflix, and YouTube clips are all things that occupy my time as well.

3 Steven Cao

Steven Cao
https://www.instagram.com/stevencao_/

My name is Steven Cao and I am a 23 years old I am a IFBB Men’s Physique Professional who . I was born on November 21st, 1994 and was raised in Galloway, New Jersey. Competition has always been a fundamental part of my life. Growing up, I sought opportunities that would bring about my competitive nature and quickly grew an interest in sports. My freshman year of high school, I tried out for the basketball team. Unfortunately, my small frame made it difficult for me to succeed. As a result, I was consecutively cut from the team. At the age of 15, I found myself taking advantage of the alternative gym period that was offered at my high school. This was a period where students were allowed to use the weight room for approximately 45 minutes. My goal at the time was to get bigger and stronger in order to have a spot on the basketball team. However, I became fascinated as I watched my body develop and become stronger. I enjoyed being able to push myself physically and mentally. By doing so, I found my passion for weight training. I wasn’️t able to increase my sessions further than the 45 minutes that was offered by the school because my parents worked long hours during the day and my local gym required parental supervision at my age. I was determined to make every minute count. It wasn’️t until the age of 16 that I joined a nearby gym, called Tilton Fitness located in Galloway, New Jersey where I started weight training full time. My starting weight at the age of 16 was 123 pounds. After consistent training and bulking for 2 years, I gained approximately 40 pounds by the time I was 18. My passion for weight training continued to grow immensely; I enjoyed every second of it. At this point, I faced an injury and found out the news that I needed to get surgery for my inguinal hernia. I suffered watching my progress slowly deteriorate due to an eight week recovery period which led me to constantly consuming unhealthy foods. The obstacle that I had to face was a downfall in my life. I had two choices to either to be weak and sit there discouraged or overcome that obstacle and come back STRONGER than ever. With the help of my friends, I was encouraged to participate in a Men’s Physique Competition; however, I was always doubtful of myself. It was only time until I decided to start a contest prep and hired an online coach from the west coast, Ariel Alberto, coach of Team Cutz. Coach Ariel and I started an eighteen week contest prep for my very first competition, the NPC John Kemper Classic one of the first/biggest show in the tri-state area. After endless strict dieting, cardio, and pushing my body for eighteen weeks, I ended up winning the Overall Men’s Physique title. From that point on, a fire was lit inside of me and I specifically remember being backstage thinking to myself I have potential in this sport. This motivated me more than ever to start competing in the NPC Universe National Championships with being 10 weeks out. With over 25 national level competitors, I ended up placing 6th place in my second show ever. I became more determined after making the first call out at the national level. I documented the entire contest prep which could be found on my YouTube channel. At this point, I started growing exponentially throughout social media which gave me the opportunity to work with the best companies in the fitness industry. I became an official Gymshark and BPI Sports sponsored athlete. I decided to compete in one of the biggest national shows in the country, NPC National Championships located in Miami, Florida. I gave it my all and managed to place 5th in my class which is a huge accomplishment for me being only 21 years old on that stage. Although I am not finished yet, 2017 I am determined that I will get that pro card. In addition, I am willing to push myself like never before. It’s truly humbling to reminisce back and see how far I’ve come. Being one of the smallest individuals growing up, I was able to compete against the best physiques in the country. I continues to strive for the pro card and in the summer of 2017 I achieved my pro status, I competed at the Jr. nationals in Chicago and I managed to win the overall title in men’s physique. For me that was a huge accomplishment due to the fact I’ve been trying my hardest and I never gave up. You can do whatever you put your mind to as long as you are willing to put in the work. I always believed that just because you’re struggling doesn’t mean you’re failing. Every great success requires some type of worthy struggle to get there. Thank you for reading.

Best Regards,

Steven Cao

1 Carlton Loth

Carlton Loth
https://www.instagram.com/carltonloth/

I developed a real interest in bodybuilding when I was 15 years old, working out with school friends at the local gym. As my physique developed, I gained the confidence to enter my first natural bodybuilding competition at 17, which I won. This began the start of my competitive bodybuilding career, culminating in 2015, when I became the Australian Natural Bodybuilding Champion (Teenage) at 18 years of age.

The best piece of advice I can give is to set realistic goals for yourself. Understand that your natural bodybuilding journey is just that – a journey comprised of many smaller steps! There are no short cuts or guarantees. It is a lifestyle choice which you must make. You will have obstacles – holding down a job, going to school, combining family, relationships and training, but you can redesign a better version of you naturally and progressively. You just need to know how.

With these thoughts in mind and my Personal Training qualification and background, I created Carlton Loth Fitness. I want to share with you the tools I use everyday to get fit, confident, aesthetic and most importantly, maintain my physique to be stage ready all year round. I don’t just talk the talk. I actually live this lifestyle everyday!

My 100% online training content means you don’t have to pay exorbitant fees to engage a personal trainer for a one hour weekly session. You get all the benefits of a totally customised service at a time and place that suits you. My workout routines use equipment you would find in most gym. I welcome online clients from Australia and overseas – men and women at all fitness levels, including teenagers over 16 years of age.

I look forward to sharing my body redesign secrets with you. Let’s get this!

  1. Hi would you mind sharing which blog platform you’re working with?
I’m going to start my own blog in the near future but I’m having a difficult
    time choosing between WordPress and
Drupal. The reason I ask is because your design seems different
then most blogs and I’m looking for something unique.

P.S Sorry for getting off-topic but I had to ask!
